Unkie Karl and the Noreaster
Last week, Natalie was delighted with a visit from skarey Unkle Karl. Being the miniature drama kween that she is, Natalie would smile at Unkie from akross the room, but kry when he tried to hold her. They were good buddies by the end of the visit, and coincidently, we will see Unkie Karl again next week.
The top picture is for Uncle Nate. Natalie and he are conspiring against Aunt Maren. "See Aunt Maren, all babies need is a little laundry basket." Actually, Grandma Dawn put her in there and Natalie is worried that mom will forget and throw her in the washing machine along with Mr. Kitty.
Now about the Noreaster. Poor Unkie Karl has a flooded basement. This morning we tried to call him twice to see if he was still alive and he didn't answer the phone either time. We were about to grab our bathing suits and jump on a plane bringing our floaties, when he called us back. Close call.
Last night, Ms. Paula gave Natalie some cool-whip on her thumb. That thumb has never tasted so good. No matter how hard she sucked on her thumb, Natalie couldn't get the cool-whip flavor to come out again (and she tried).
