Shorts...too...tight
I went for a ride with my dad last week. It was great weather, a beautiful day for a ride.
But as I pulled on my shorts and jersey, I realized...they're too tight on my belly. If I pulled them up high, over the tiny bump, it cut off all circulation. If I put it under the tiny bump, the jersey didn't cover my belly. Ugh. This is what I need, for the cheap price of $64.99. I have yet to find a maternity jersey, though.

Shoot, Betsy, does this mean I can't wear my spandex one piece body suit? hahaha
Do these products go on sale? That's an expensive bike ride with your dad. Maybe you could try some soft cotton stretch shorts a few sizes larger than you would normally wear. I agree with blyss, spandex on a growing belly with baby inside it sounds too tight and restrictive. Let it all hang out and loose the spandex girdle. I think baby wants to feel the breeze and not be forced down during the ride to face your knees!!!!! oxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Ohhhh... Gretchen Belly! Let it all hang out Girl!!! The Superstars do!
Actually Target has some super long tank tops that would probably cover the bump sufficiently without riding up or anything. They're made of a light spandexy material, and I've found them to be very versatile. I was actually able to wear some of my non maternity clothes longer because of them... NOW they're not much help, but they'd probably work for you.
I was at the 28th street store yesterday and they still had 'em.
Just give up. I did...
Maybe Lance is right. No wait, don't give up.
