The Boards

I take the boards (NCLEX) on Wednesday, February 15th. In the words of my great friend, Tito, "scarey scarerton". I appreciate that everyone has been so encouraging about it. But you have to admit that it would be stressful to take an exam that would determine whether all your schooling and thousands of dollars will ever be put to use.

I have always wondered why so many people think that money and schooling should be "put to use".

Think about learning for the sake of learning.

If you don't pass...you could have Sophie's job in a couple of years (or days).

Do well!

Yeah, they definitely don't sound like fun, but I think you've certainly got what it takes.

By the way, I sent you an encouraging cat video. Did you get it yet?

Nate--let me ask you something. Would you be going to school full time while working and raising a family if it would never be "put to use"? That was what my first degree was for...learning for the sake of learning.

Kevin--I don't even have words to describe how encouraging that cat video was. And I'm glad that Belki (sp??) made an appearance.

Good luck on your NCLEX-RN!

My wife passed hers last spring. It freaked her out when the test just shut down. If you do well enough I guess the NCLEX says "ok, good enough" and shuts down before completion.

I'm studing at RBC (pre-nursing)I think I want to be a psych nurse as well. I just applied for an on-call position at Pine Stress.

Oh, yeah my buddy Joe Shelling got me addicted to this infernal blogging thing
