A Cousins Christmas
Natalie had a fun Christmas with all her new cousins. Isaac is the biggest of the bunch, even though he started out as the smallest. He is also the roughest, and we have to watch little Natalie around him. Emma (in pink) is the oldest and most talented. She can eat Cheerios and sit up by herself. Caleb has the best hair, and all the babies are jealous of that. He also is the best at blowing raspberries at people. And Natalie, well, what can I say? She's my little sweetie pie.
Sorry this one is blurry, but I love the pictures of the babies with their daddies.
When they get older, we'll use this picture on the cover of their first rock album.
Isaac and Natalie
Natalie enjoyed meeting her cousin Isaac. We learned very quickly that we had to be careful how close they got to each other. Isaac has wild hands and feet.
2 months old!
Natalie turned two months old this week. It's amazing how quickly babies change and grow. I saw Natalie next to a two-week-old recently, and she looked like a linebacker in comparison. When did that happen?
Play Date
Natalie loves playing with her cousin Caleb. Ok, so actually, they aren't even aware of each other so much, but it's cute to watch them kick their legs out together and babble back and forth. He's gone to Minnesota for a week and we miss him so much already!
It's a Dance Party....A MAGAdanzparty
Our good friend, Tara Magadanzparty made Natalie this sweet little hat and blanket. She loves it!
Thanks, Tara!
It even tastes good!
Friends
Nothing like a good friend to whisper all your secrets to.
Unless Mama overhears what you're saying. Shocking!
Eat your heart out, Hillary Clinton
She's got my vote.
Getting ready for church....
Lukie accompanied us to church today. As usual, he had many interesting things to say. Getting in the car, he said to Corey, "I don't know what the big deal is about the baby, anyway."
Later, his Uncle David asked him what he thought of the baby. "She's the right size."
Lucas keeps insisting that he is her BROTHER, not her COUSIN. At lunch, Natalie started to cry because she was SO hungry. Lucas asked his mom "why isn't Aunt Gretchen giving her anything?" He was willing to share his hotdog and fries with her. She's lucky to have such a smart older cousin who will teach her so many new things. He can't wait till she's ready to play G.I. Joe and army guys with him.
You're never fully dressed without a smile...
Natalie and Mia
While Corey sits with the girls watching football, Natalie sneaks a poke into Mia. Mia is no doubt trying to steal Natalie's breath, as my mom feared from the beginning. Although, they were initially arch nemeses, they are now joining forces for evil. Natalie thinks it's hilarious when Mia is naughty. One of her first smiles came when Mia climbed the Christmas tree.
