We love Grandpa
Natalie got to see Grandpa this weekend and wasn't even scared of his big, deep voice this time.
I think she felt sorry for him. Poor Daddy.
Don't Mess with Texas
Last week Nate (my big brother) and Maren visited us, and this was a bit of a suprise. They both just graduate from Baylor University and are between jobs, so they thought they would pop on up from Texas (or do people from Texas swagger on up??) The family got to throw Maren a baby shower, which was really fun. Here's a little shout out to Jill, who did most of the work (Thanks Jilly). Everyone had a great time. Natalie and Emma discussed how the only reason people think they look alike is because they're bald. Caleb mocked them both and kept flipping his hair back over his shoulders as it blew in the breeze. Nathan was waiting for someone to give him the Play Station whatever that he put on the baby registry. Every baby needs that, right? Finally, Natalie at a leaf and I had to fish around to get it out. The next day as I changed a diaper, I discovered I hadn't gotten the whole thing out. Good thing it wasn't a poinsettia.
Baby free for all
When we got home from vacation, I realized that I had a lot of random photos of the babies just plopped wherever, fighting over the remote, and clobbering each other. Natalie is a little less aggressive than the other two babes, so she often gets toys taken away, or Isaac crawls right over her. But when the going gets tough, she just grabs a clump of hair and pulls with all her might, bringing even the toughest of boys to tears.
Dude, we're getting the band back together
(except Emma, she was kicked out for not showing up for practice)
Baby-cation
Monday morning we will be leaving with Mark and Jill to go see Karl, Jenn, and Ice-man. We are really looking forward to the 11 hour drive with 2 babies in the car. It's going to be great. I just hope the Mark and Corey don't cry and scream too much. Natalie has learned how to fend for herself a bit, so she's not too worried about Isaac's left hook anymore.
I asked them if they were going to be good for the trip, and this was their response.
