The Best Thing about Having a Baby Will Be...
finally, someone else to blame things on.
For example (and these are strictly hypothetical)
Who ate all the ice cream? Ohh...the baby.
Who is wearing my shorts? Oh, must be the baby.
Who kicked my shoes down the stairs? The baby.
Who covered my desktop with pictures of David Kaat? Ummm...the baby.
Handsome Duo
Guess what I need?
Isaac Records
Isaac got to go home yesterday. You can tell here that he is very excited about it.
Here Isaac is hitting on one of the nurses. What a little flirt.
Another shot of Isaac winking at the ladies.
Skeletoes, just like his daddy!
Welcome to the planet...
Meet little Isaac William Records, my new lil nephew. Born this afternoon, 6 lbs 11 ounces. Almost a week late, but that's because he's like his dad and was worried there wouldn't be enough food when he came out. I can't wait to kiss his little face!
Adding Injury to Insult
As if getting my bike stolen wasn't bad enough for one week. This morning on my walk, I was attacked by a scary dog. It was right behind a school, and the owner was right there. The dog was not on a leash. I have scratches all up and down my leg, and I got bit on the back of my upper leg. "Oh sorry," she says. "I didn't see you there." She grabbed the retarded dog and yelled at it while I wiped mud and blood off of my leg. She still didn't leash her dog. I turned and headed home, not even getting to finish my stupid walk. Why don't people leash their dogs? Not all of us like being mauled and bitten by nasty animals. Anyway, Mia was very mad on my behalf, and has volunteered to rip the dogs face off.
Feeling Blue
I woke up this morning to Corey telling me that there was a pink bike in our back yard and the garage door was open. I ran outside and into the garage only to find that my bike was stolen. I know that there are larger and greater problems in the world than a girl getting her bike stolen, but I feel really sad. I had purchased the bike when I was accepted into nursing school. I had saved up for the bike for a long time. It was my first real road bike. I filed a police report and will call the insurance company in the morning. So no jokes, no cute little stories, no laughing matter. My bike is gone, and I am really sad.
Going too far??
Sure, we all love the tour. But what is this mess?
"German fan Didi Senft known as El Diablo cheers on the riders as he wears a French and Italian flag during the 225 km fifth stage of the 93rd Tour de France cycling race from Beauvais to Caen, 06 July 2006. "
